Chinese-American stir-fry originating in Taiwan. This one is prepared differently. Here’s how I make it: • Mix sauce together:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp onion powder • Add chuck roast to crock pot (1 use about a 3lb boneless cut) • Pour sauce over meat and flip a few times to coat • Cook on low for 8 hours (I would use pressure cooker, either rice or beef in a container within, much less time) Serve with Brown or Jasmine Rice, and string beans.
