Did not realize that you had to pay for a barcode. Anyway the UPC is going out and a 2D QR code is being required (within 15 mm of each other), and currently all products should have both codes. I need to check the prices on a product before I purchase it and I frequently have to verify that the readable bar code number matches the shelf label. Shelf labels code can be very hard to read as it is and QR codes would be impossible toread and match.
