Elias Yoder - YouTube
Hi, I’m Elias Yoder. I grew up around people who knew how to live without depending on many of the systems modern families now consider normal. We preserved our own food, built things to last, wasted very little, and passed down knowledge that was never written in schoolbooks. On this channel, I share the old methods I was raised around — practical ways of living that helped families stay independent long before monthly bills and disposable products took over everyday life. Here you’ll find videos about traditional Amish living, forgotten household knowledge, gardening, food preservation, simple building methods, and the kinds of skills people used every single day just a few generations ago. New videos uploaded regularly. Subscribe if you want to learn the old ways people stopped talking about.

A New York cemetery was hiding 5.5 million bees underground
A casual walk through an Ithaca cemetery led to the discovery of a gigantic hidden bee population — roughly 5.5 million ground-nesting bees packed beneath the soil. Scientists believe it may be one of the largest bee aggregations ever documented and say the insects are crucial pollinators for apple orchards and other crops. The bees have likely lived there for more than 100 years, thriving in the cemetery’s undisturbed sandy soil.

Kennedy Center plans upended as judge orders Trump's name off landmark building - Raw Story

Found this early afternoon on Friday, Google search at that time didn't show it on any news outlets. Big difference after midnight.

A federal judge ruled that the Kennedy Center should not bear President Donald Trump's name, according to reporting by CNN.U.S. District Judge Casey Cooper ruled that the center's board violated the law by adding Trump's name. Cooper wrote that the law "makes crystal clear that the Center is to be named for President Kennedy."

Aimlockbelch (Dude/His Dudeness)'s answer: I’ve known trump most of my life. I went to school with his niece and nephew and I saw him visit the school from time to time. His niece, Mary, yeah, THAT one, was one of the nicest kids in my school and she despised him even back then. I used to work i...

Hawaii startup built a 3D-printed Navy boat
Building a military boat traditionally requires molds, fiberglass layup, skilled labor, a fixed factory, and weeks of production time. A Hawaii-based startup called Voltage Vessels is working to replace that entire process with a 3D printer, a spool of basalt-reinforced

Example domain is used with a unique hashtag(#) or server instructions(?,&) to be able to create a note. Raindrop uses url to get title and description (notes is not description).

Notes on aliexpress (com, .us), and temu: Chinese companies individual sellers have different prices but orders come through same warehouse. "Prices vary for sales, size, color;* always check the sales cart for surprise shipping charges attached to one item or description not matching what you thought you ordered. Items were and still be shipped from China cheaper but before Trump's tarrifs went into effect large stockpiles were created in US so differences became less apparent and shipping became faster. Items with lithium batteries will often be shipped separately as the cannot be shipped through post office. Most items are tracked so you know when the arrive, verify that you received package and check contents as orders may be split up.

Do not use your credit card directly with foreign companies, I use PayPal they make payment and charger to my credit card.

Pictures can be very deceiving when it comes to size. You may find dimensions in one of the pictures, the "Specifications", or "Description". Helps to have a ruler beside you with inches and cm scales especially for kitchen pots and pans.

raindrop.io notes;* Could not get pictures for all into raindrop. Works best to use browser and use raindrop extension not share. You can use share to share url from app or raindrop.io to bring up in browser with address bar. Raindrop.io has its own browser with limited functions.

Stainless steel: 304 is magnetic can be used on induction burner, may corrode slightly. 316 has nickel and chromium much less subseptical to corrosion from acid or salt but cannot be used on induction burner.
